There are many different types of heating systems. Such as boiler, furnace or heat pumps, these systems are located in a furnace room in a home or a mechanical room in a large building. These systems also contain either duct work for forced air systems or piping to distribute a heated fluid to radiators to transfer this heat to the air.
Warm Air Systems
Warm air systems distribute heated air through duct work systems of supply and return air through metal or fiberglass ducts. Many systems use the same ducts to distribute air cooled by an evaporator coil for air conditioning.
Ventilating is the process of changing or replacing air in any space to provide high indoor air quality Ventilation is used to remove unpleasant smells and excessive moisture, introduce outside air, to keep interior building air circulating, and to prevent stagnation of the interior air. Ventilation increases the energy needed for heating or cooling.
Another part of HVAC service is furnace cleaning it could reduce efficiency of your furnace and increase fuel costs. The fuel filter must be replaced every year before or after the heating season or when the need arises. the dirty filter will block the flow of the air and will make your furnace work harder.
